When and where may I have fingerprints done?
The Salisbury Police Department does fingerprints on Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm. There is a $10.00 fee that must be paid before the prints are done.

A Neighborhood Watch Program is a crime prevention program that involves citizens working together with each other and law enforcement to reduce crime and victimization in their communities. Contact the Community Relations Officer Rebecca Sexton at 704-638-2092 or email at rsext@salisburync.gov. She will assist you with what to do to get the program started.

What is a home survey?
This program provides a security survey for you home. If requested the community relations officers will come to your home to check your locks, doors, window lighting, vegetation (over growth) etc. and give you suggestions to make your home a safer place. What is a business survey?
This program provides a security survey of your business. If requested the community relations officers will come to your business to check your business for proper locks, lighting, any paraphernalia that will block the normal view into the business for the roadway, etc. and give you suggestions to make your business a safer place. Can I make an anonymous tip about criminal behavior or activity?
You can make an anonymous telephone call to 1-866-639-5245 Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers. This call is completely confidential and you are not required to leave your name. You will be assigned a number as your identification to insure your anonymity. You could receive a reward if the information is confirmed and an unsolved case cleared before qualifying for a reward. If you qualify for a reward, your anonymity is still maintained even through the collection of your money.

Vacation Checks
If you are going on vacation you can call the police department 704-638-5333 and an officer will take your information and a check around your residence will be done while you are away.
